About Brierfield Fire and Rescue
Our History
Our fire department was founded in 1976 and has been serving the Brierfield and surrounding communities ever since.
Station 1 was established in 1976 off Hwy 139 in Brierfield.
Station 2 was added in 2013 in the Six Mile Community.
Station 3 will be added in May 2024 in the Randolph Community.
Our board of directors consist of 9 board members from the community.
We have grown from a small team of volunteers to a well-equipped and trained volunteer department ready to respond to any emergency.
Our Services
We provide a wide range of services to the community, including fire suppression, emergency medical services, Advance Life Support EMS services, and more.
We provide Fire and EMS mutual aid to surrounding departments. We also support Bibb County Sheriff's Department as needed.
Our current EMS staff includes:
1 Critical Care Paramedic
3 Advanced EMT's
2 EMT's
Most of our Firefighters are state certified firefighters and have CPR/AED certifications.
Our trained professionals are always ready to serve the community.
Our Team
The Brierfield Fire and Rescue Fire Department is made up of a dedicated team of volunteers who are committed to serving the community. Our firefighters, paramedics, and support staff are highly trained and experienced.

Station 1 - 18567 Hwy 139, Brierfield, AL. 35035
Station 1 is our primary location. Most Fire/EMS responses are out of this station. Station 1 serves the Brierfield Area.
Station 2 - 100 Sixmile School Road, Centreville, AL. 35042
Station 2 is located in the Six Mile area. Station host training and serves as the voting location for Brierfield and Six Mile communities. We have a an Engine stationed at this location.
Station 3 - 6953 Hwy 36, Randolph, AL. 36792
Station 3 is located in the Randolph community. This station will respond in the Randolph area and serve as backup for Brierfield and Six Mile. We have an Engine and Rescue truck stationed there.
